Some fans asked us why his Air Jordan Retro 11 Black/Red is not so comfortable as Air Jordan 11 Retro Legend Blue, and is there any comparison for the different years of AJ11?
We found 3 Air Jordan 11 in different years to deconstruct. That is, 2008 Air Jordan 11 Retro “Bred” Black/Varsity Red-White , 2011 Air Jordan 11 Retro Concord White/Black-Dark Concord and 2014 Air Jordan 11 Retro Legend Blue.
2008 Air Jordan 11 Retro “Bred” Black/Varsity Red-White
2011 Air Jordan 11 Retro Concord White/Black-Dark Concord，as the shoe pad has been abrased, so we can’t see the AJ Jumpman logo on the shoe pad.
2014 Air Jordan 11 Retro Legend Blue
Patent Leather
2008 AJ11 Black/Red, the patent leather of shoe head is about 2.03mm
2011 AJ11 Concord, the patent leather of shoe head is about 1.95mm
2014 AJ11 Legend Blue, the patent leather of shoe head is about 2.45mm
Shoe tongue
From left to right is, Black/Red, Concord, Legend Blue. The three models’ shoe tongue is almost the same. The bandage of Black/Red model is longer than other two models. The front foam of Legend Blue is longer than other two models.
Shoe-pad
The front side of Black/Red innersole uses cotton cloth material. It’s printed with 0810244. The other two models use EVA material.
The reverse side of Black/Red innersole is gray non-woven fabrics, which is printed with AJ11 136046 SIZE 9 RIGHT. The reverse side of Concord innersole is white non-woven fabrics, the words has been misty. The white non-woven fabrics on the reverse side of Legend Blue is printed with AIR JORDAN 11 RETRO F29084 M’S 8.5#.
Built-in Air Cushion
The size of Black/Red is EUR42.5，The built-in air cushion is bigger than other two models(size US8.5/EUR42). It also improves that the air cushion of AJ11 have different models. The size US8.5/EUR42 and US9/EUR42.5 is the divide.

On Concord’s arch supporting plate, I saw the mark on the TPU supporting plate, OBT660 8T-9T-R. Is that a joke by NIKE?
We are doubting what the material of arch supporting plate is. As you know, the carbon fiber is incombustible, but TPU can be burned. JUST DO IT , so we burned the arch supporting plate to have a try.
After burning, we can obvious find that the inside material is exactly carbon fiber plate. We can see the carbon cellosilk in it.
Overall, from above deconstruction of three models in different year, we can see that AJ has made some changes every year. The main direction is to improve the comfort level. So if you like Air Jordan 11, you don’t need to be entangled.
