With the Air Max 270 and React foam-equipped models like the React Element 55 and React Element 87 having become wildly popular over the past year-plus, it seemed only natural that the two technologies would eventually be brought together, and Nike has done just that on the Air Max 270 React.
The first thing you’ll notice about the Air Max 270 React Black is the unique upper that is as streamlined as it gets. Taking inspiration from classics such as the Air Max 1 and the Air Max 93, it utilises a specially designed no-sew technique that makes the panels look like they’re floating in mid air.
As you move downwards, you’ll find the Airbag from the Air Max 270 at the heel, while React foam cushioning makes up the rest of the midsole, providing sneakerheads with comfort that’s beyond compare. Finishing it all off are Swoosh logos on the sidewalls, as well as “AIR270 REACT” embossed onto the tongue.
These simple-yet-effective Nike shoes will release on July 3rd at select retail partners, so check out a set of images below while you await their arrival.
